MOU Signing Ceremony between Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK), Japan and School of Engineering

With mutual goals and committments, the friendship between Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) and School of Engineering of UTCC has been firmly cultivated in a short period of time since their first formal meeting on 6 March 2015 at UTCC. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, 22 July, 2015 at the university council meeting room, facilitated by Office of International Relations, Division of Foreign Affairs. 

 The MOU was officially signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr.  Sauwanee Thairungroj, President of UTCC and Mr. Koichi Fujiwara, Executive Vice President of ClassNK. The congratulatory remarks on the success of cooperation were also dilivered by both signers. 

The MOU reaffirms the commitment of UTCC and ClassNK to the objective of establishing a friendly partnership for comprehensive cooperation regarding transportation system and investigation of cross boarder logistics in ASEAN.

After the ceremony, UTCC hosted a luncheon to celebrate the accomplishment of MOU signing.
